EW Montgomery Cotton Warehouse
Greenville, South Carolina
Originally built between 1927 and 1933, the 68,000–square–foot cotton warehouse once supported the textile industry for the thriving cotton mills in the Greenville, South Carolina area. The property is being converted into 60 apartment-style lofts, ranging from about 600 to 1,300 square feet, with open ceilings and exposed brick walls. Other amenities planned to be made available are a theater/lounge area, exercise facilities and swimming pool. There will also be a community garden and a one-fourth-mile walking trail for residents.
