The old Northwestern Bell building, originally completed in 1964 after two phases of building, acted as the former headquarters for the regional telephone company. The 12-story, 380,000square-foot building was completed granite and brick veneers and aluminumframed windows.  The building sat vacant for nearly two decades. Beginning in 2013, the structure was converted into 300 apartments along with indoor parking, fitness center, rooftop decks, pool, library and lounge.
