I am passionate about Monarch's significant role in the continued growth of both Georgia's film industry and the renewable energy industry across the United States.
Verica Jensen is a manager in Monarch Private Capital’s asset management group. In this role, Verica is primarily responsible for managing multiple credit funds, including low-income housing funds, historic credit funds, mill revitalization funds, solar and renewable energy funds, and many other proprietary state and federal fund offerings. Verica is also responsible for individual fund maintenance, financial modeling and performance metrics for Monarch’s funds, as well as critical compliance requirements such as annual project inspections, project developer compliance for K-1s, and related financial data. She also manages “agreed-upon procedures” and compliance as part of the annual audit process of Monarch’s funds. Verica’s far-reaching knowledge and valuable experience working with significant tax matters for large institutions directly support Monarch’s ESG initiatives that positively impact communities.
Prior to joining Monarch, Verica served as an experienced tax accountant at Williams, Benator & Libby, LLP, a public accounting firm. There, she was responsible for filing federal and state tax returns on behalf of corporate, partnership and institutional taxpayers.
Verica earned a BBA in finance from the University of Belgrade and an MT from Georgia State University. When she’s not working, she enjoys running 5K and 10K races for charity.
