Alec Watanabe

Alec Watanabe serves as Associate, Energy at Monarch Private Capital. In his role, he supports the underwriting and closing process for energy tax equity investments by helping the team identify and evaluate potential opportunities. Alec assists with due diligence, transaction management, investor communications, and energy conference planning, while supporting the acquisition of new projects. He also oversees event strategy and campaigns that strengthen Monarch’s presence in the energy market and deepen industry relationships.

Prior to joining Monarch Private Capital, Alec served as a product coordinator at Harley-Davidson Financial Services, where he partnered with cross-functional teams to identify marketing opportunities that supported brand objectives and customer engagement. He later joined Connections Insights, focusing on research, analytics, and market intelligence. Following that role, Alec transitioned into the beverage industry, helping launch and grow a new alcohol brand from the ground up. His experience spans product launches, event execution, brand development, market analysis, and strategic collaboration across multiple industries.

Alec earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Marketing from Mercer University.
