Depot Square Flats

Depot Square Flats was originally part of the legendary RomWeber Furniture Company, a site that played a central role in shaping the city’s identity and is now recognized as a National Historic Landmark. Located in Batesville, Indiana, the project has been repurposed into a 51-unit residential community through the renovation of two existing buildings—one transformed into apartments and the other into a parking garage. Named after the nearby 1852 Big Four Railroad train station on Depot Street, Depot Square Flats preserves the site’s historic character while offering modern amenities.
