Hotel Retlaw

Hotel Retlaw, located in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, was originally built in 1923. Over the years, the building has been an integral part of Fond Du Lac’s hospitality landscape, originally designed in the Neo-Classical Revival style and serving as a premier destination for travelers. The hotel underwent several additions, including a north guest wing in 1926-27, a coffee house in 1926, and a pool facility in 1985, before closing in December 2015. Now repurposed, it serves as a 126-room luxury boutique hotel, preserving its historic charm while offering two restaurants, a full-service bar, a retro-style gaming and sports tavern, a full-service fitness facility with a spa, exercise rooms, men’s and women’s locker rooms, and a swimming pool. Additional amenities include room service, a business center, and valet parking. Through the federal Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit (HTC), Hotel Retlaw supports the growth and well-being of the Fond Du Lac community, ensuring its legacy remains a vital part of the city’s future.
