Strand Apartments

The Strand Residences is a newly completed affordable housing community in the Deanwood neighborhood of Washington, D.C., featuring 86 apartments, 18 parking spaces, and 2,550 square feet of first-floor retail. The development includes 71 one-bedroom and 15 two-bedroom units, with one-third designated as replacement housing for residents of the nearby Lincoln Heights public housing community, supported by Section 8 vouchers and reserved for households earning less than 30% of the Area Median Income. The remaining units are available to residents earning up to 60% AMI, expanding access to safe, modern, and affordable housing while revitalizing underutilized land in the heart of the neighborhood.
