Alex Criner is Senior Associate, Asset Management at Monarch Private Capital, where he applies his strong background in finance and strategy to support the successful management of a diverse portfolio of investments. In his role, Alex collaborates across teams to build and maintain complex financial models, analyze performance data, and generate insights that guide strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
Prior to joining Monarch, Alex held finance and analytical roles at ConnectGEN, Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., Morgan Stanley, and EnerVest. His experience includes leading due diligence efforts, asset valuations, pricing analysis, and financial modeling to support multimillion- and multibillion-dollar transactions and corporate strategy.
Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Alabama A&M University, a Master of Science in Statistics from Iowa State University, and an MBA from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business. His well-rounded experience and technical expertise make him a valuable asset to the Monarch team.
