Derrol Sterrod is the Investor Relations and Tax Credit Intern for Monarch Private Capital. In this role, he assists with investor relations, investor reporting, tax credit placement prospecting, investor/prospect research and prospect sustainability/ESG initiative analysis. Additionally, Derrol supports various investor and marketing strategies.
Prior to joining Monarch, Derrol worked for an entertainment company where he managed artists and logistics for large and small events, including music festivals, nonprofit fundraisers and smaller community events. In addition, he also worked at Devwire Consulting, where he managed business to business negotiations as well as trained and managed customer service representatives.
Derrol earned a BBA in business economics from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business. He is also an active member of Martin Luther King Jr.’s Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he mentors youth and young adults through the Ishmael’s Promise Ministry. Derrol is currently enrolled Georgia State University’s Masters program for Economics with a focus on quantitative methods. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, sports and live music.
