Broad View, located in Greenville, South Carolina, was originally home to a mid-20th-century textile-related facility operated by Bell Linen Service, Inc., which later became an AmeriPride uniform and linen supply center. The site played a role in Greenville’s textile industry, serving as a laundry and processing facility for several decades. In 2014, Broad Street Holdings, LLC acquired the long-vacant property, and in 2020, the site was officially designated as an abandoned textile mill to qualify for redevelopment incentives. Now repurposed, it serves as a luxury residential development, preserving its historic connection while offering 38 market-rate luxury apartment units designed to blend modern architecture with Greenville’s urban landscape. Through the South Carolina Textile Mill Tax Credit, Broad View supports the growth and well-being of the Greenville community, ensuring its legacy remains a vital part of the city’s future.
