Mansion on Main, located in New Albany, Indiana, was originally constructed in 1922 by the M. Fine & Sons Company, a prominent local clothing manufacturer. Designed by the esteemed Louisville architectural firm Joseph & Joseph, the building represented a significant $100,000 investment at the time—a reflection of the post-World War I economic expansion. While the company maintained operations in downtown New Albany, the new facility at East Main Street and 15th Street was designed to house state-of-the-art machinery and, by 1925, employed 325 workers. Now repurposed, the building serves as a 108-bed assisted living facility, preserving its historical character while offering high-quality senior care. Monarch Private Capital provided the State HTC equity for Denton Floyd Real Estate Group’s 2017 redevelopment.
